I finally have a few minutes to share all of Jackson’s birthday activities now. His birthday was on Monday, so Jason took the day off from work and we took Jackson (with Julia in tow) to the Children’s Museum. He had a great time and really loved the bubble room and the pretend grocery store. That night we had all of the grandparents come over and we celebrated with some ice cream cake…Jackson loved it of course!
On Wednesday, Jackson had his 3 year old checkup at the doctor’s office…it was a nightmare and he screamed the entire time :( Hopefully by his 4 year old checkup he realizes it’s not so scary! He weighed 28.5lbs and was 38 1/2”, those stats put him in the 10th percentile for weight and 70th percentile for height.
The fun continued on Saturday when we got the chance to take Jackson to Canobie Lake Park. We got free tickets and a nice lunch from Jason’s company. Jackson wasn’t so sure about the rides, but we convinced him to go on a few. He never cried, but it was hard to tell if he liked all of them. He did enjoy the merry-go-round and driving the antique cars. He also went on a caterpillar ride and a small roller coaster, and he did okay but I think he was happy when they were over.
Then on Sunday, we had a birthday party for Jackson. All of the grandparents were there along with Diana & Jason and a few of Jackson’s friends. The weather was so nice that we actually got the pool out for the kids and Jackson was very happy to see it! All in all it was great week long celebration of our favorite little man!
