We are ready for kick-off! Go PATRIOTS!!!!!

4 Month Dr. Appointment
Jackson was all smiles at the doctor’s office this morning. He weighed in at 14lbs 9oz and was 26.5” long!!! That puts him in the 50% for weight and 75% for height. He was really happy and even laughed for the doctor. He had a few shots and was even better than before, he cried a bit when they gave him the shots but once I picked him up he was smiling once again. I just love him!
7pm
Jackson has been playing with his pacifier a lot lately… mostly taking it out of his mouth and then getting angry. Well today, he figured out how to put it back in his mouth! It seems like he is learning something new everyday!
2pm
Jackson rolled from his belly to his back yesterday! Pretty soon he will be rolling all over the place and really keeping me busy!
Some new photos have been added to the album, including some nice photos with his great grandparents.
12pm
Jackson rolled over for the first time last night! Jason and I were sitting on the floor with him, listening to some music and he rolled from his back to his belly! We were both so excited and screamed YEAH…and we actually scared him (oops). It was so nice that we were both there to see it together.
12pm
I think Jackson is going to be a lion for halloween (I spotted this costume at Babies R’Us)…he makes a lot of little lion cub noises lately.

Stay At Home Mom
So as of last week I am now officially unemployed. It is a strange feeling being home all of the time, but I am happy that I am able to spend more time with Jackson. I will probably look for a part-time consulting job sometime early next year. It has been an adjustment in that I am used to a high stress job with a to-do list a mile long. I am happy to say that my stress level has decreased, but I am still trying to find my rhythm and form a daily routine. Now that Jackson is about 3 months old, his sleeping and eating schedules are becoming more predictable which is helping me to come up with some type of schedule for our days.
I know it wasn’t that long ago, but I already feel like I can’t remember just how small he was or how he seemed so fragile. Now he can hold his head up and loves to stand up with our help…but the best development thus far is how much he is “talking” of late. He looks right in the eyes of his stuffed animals and has a conversation with them. Oohs and aahs and goos, it is insanely adorable. I know everyone says life goes by fast, but I’m learning that through the eyes of a parent they go by faster than you can imagine.

3pm
2 month drs appointment
Jackson had his 2 month appointment this morning and once again it went very well. He weighed in at 11lbs 10oz and is 23.5 inches long! He had fun with the doctor and was smiling and cooing at her, he is already turning out to be quite the flirt!
He had two vaccinations at the appointment and he cried a little bit, but calmed down pretty quickly once I picked him up…he’s a very brave little man.
